pwT 2.3 Formal Communication: Asking for Permission
Writing: Students can write sentences with correct subject-verb agreement.
Language Function: Students produce and present a simple written or oral product.
Sample: Writing a letter/email to ask for permission at school
Every letter we write has many parts. Look at the letter that is written below.
Label all the parts. There is date, on the right, address on the left, a greeting
under the address, the body of the letter below that, a closing and signature on the
right side. First the letter is written in English. Then the same letter will be
translated in Punjabi.

The same letter in Punjabi: When we write the date in Punjabi, we will write the date
first, then month and then the year. Rest all is the same as the English letter.
