Punjabi Reader Book 6A

PSL Punjabi Reader-6A is the sixth in a series of reading and language resources in PSL
series. This book is intended to provide the reader with a lot of practice in intermediate

level reading skills. The reader will learn many grammar skills and rich vocabulary on
different topics. Mastering the language concepts in this book will lead the reader to develop

Stage III of Punjabi language proficiency.
Students in Level 6 will be able to

 Read short stories, poems and essays with relative ease
 Understand the text and be able to answer comprehension questions from the text
 Develop understanding of more concepts of Punjabi grammar

 Be able to write one-two paragraphs on a journal topic
 Be able to create a report/essay/presentation on a topic and share it in class

 Do counting up to 200 and more in Punjabi- counting and the ordinal numbers

3. Complete Japuji Sahib
End of the Year Project: Create a report, a project about Sikh identity and about the life
and/or teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Be prepared to present in your class.

Paragraph Writing: Each paragraph will have topic sentence, three details to support the topic

sentence and a concluding sentence. For example:
